Two perspectives. One purpose.

Les Swart

Co-founder · Business & operations

Les leads the business, operations and development of Swart Health. A veteran and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, he brings experience in healthcare administration, logistics, compliance and program management.

He approaches the company as something to keep improving: make the process clearer, remove unnecessary steps and follow through on the details. His focus is the practical work behind a good customer experience, from organizing the product range to making information easier to find and responding to what customers need.

Mahala Swart, MD

Co-founder · Physician perspective

Mahala Swart, MD, is a co-founder of Swart Health and a physician board certified in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. Her clinical background includes primary care and rural medicine.

She holds degrees in Nutrition and Herbal Medicine and has completed training in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Her background informs the team’s perspective on nourishment, everyday health, and clear, practical education.
